What do you need to be a GoVax Hero?
Are you willing to volunteer your time and driving skills to be part of the GoVax Heroes programme? The response has been tremendous and we’re looking for volunteers to be part of the movement to support the nation’s vaccination effort.
We will provide the cars, petrol and cover parking fees. We just need some volunteers to help shuttle seniors / OKUs for their vaccination appointments over Saturdays & Sundays. Our programme runs till 31st August 2021.

We’re looking for volunteer drivers on Saturdays and Sundays. We’ll provide the cars, petrol and cover parking fees, we need you to volunteer your driving skills to help shuttle seniors and those with disabilities for their vaccination appointments and back home once they are done.
Depending on the appointment schedule for the day, our team will assign you seniors to shuttle. Appointments can start as early as 8 am and end as late as 6 pm. Typically each driver may take about maximum of 3 – 4 seniors in a day.
GoVAX is a CSR programme, and there are no charges for the rides. However, as a small token of our appreciation, we are happy to offer all heroes RM30 worth of GoPocket points per day for each GoVax hero.
If you do not feel well, please DO NOT go for your GoVax Shuttle appointment. Contact our GoCar team, and we’ll get someone else to replace your shift.
We will obtain an approval for this programme, and an letter will be issued for GoVax Heroes for the day you’re volunteering for.
We will have an online pre-briefing session for every driver before the drive day (10 minutes), and you will need to collect the GoCar from our office in Seksyen 13, Petaling Jaya before your first appointment.
Yes, we will need you to register as a GoCar member, as we will need the necessary documents for anyone who drives a GoCar. Launch the GoCar mobile app here.
