As users of other services ourselves, we understand how it feels when we have to wait 10 to 14 working days just to get that refund. Or God forbid, getting passed from one customer representative to another while trying to get our money back.
Introducing GoPocket, GoCar’s latest feature where refunds and reimbursements are lightning quick and where you can buy GoPocket points for your Free Floating bookings. We also know you have questions for us so here are our answers.
Just how lightning-quick is the refund and reimbursement process?
Well, you can expect all refunds and reimbursements (petrol/car wash) to be transferred to your account in the form of GoPocket points in just one business day.
Speaking of refunds, if I were to cancel my booking, how will I be refunded and what am I supposed to do?
If you have a change in plans, the best time to let us know is 48 hours before your booking starts. Here’s why:
Cancelled 48 hours before booking start time
Users will be refunded with points equivalent to the total booking fee + 6%(SST)
User paid RM99 + SST for a booking and wants to cancel 48 hours before booking start time.
User will be refunded with points equivalent to the value of RM99 + SST.
Cancelled 48 to 12 hours before booking start time
Points equivalent to 50% of total booking fee + 6% (SST).
User paid RM99 + SST for a booking and wants to cancel 16 hours before booking start time.
User will be refunded with points equivalent to the value of 50% of RM99 + SST of 50% x RM99.
Cancelled less than 12 hours before booking start time
Strictly no refund
And don’t forget to drop us an email at email@example.com with the subject line “[URGENT] Booking Cancellation“, along with your booking details such as your selected GoCar location, booking start date and time, and booking end date and time.
So how do I get these GoPocket points?
There are two ways – you can either buy or earn them. More information below.
On top of finding your reimbursements and refunds in the form of GoPocket points here, we’ve also made it easy for you to earn through your bookings.
Running low on points? You can always top-up in the app. Top-up amount starts from RM10 (1000 GoPocket points).
Will my points expire?
Yes. Starting from 2020, all earned GoPocket points will expire on every 31 December. Points that you’ve bought, however, will never expire.
To see how many points will be expiring, you can always check via the GoPocket screen on the app.
Hmm, can I convert my points into cash?
Sorry, but GoPocket points cannot be converted into cash.
